Tony “Kid Fire” Pep

Tony Pep is one of the most well-known fighters the Canadian boxing scene has ever produced. Throughout the 1980's and 1990’s he dominated the light and feather weight divisions winning the Canadian Title, the Commonwealth Title and the IBO World Title. Tony Pep was also one of the first fighters to take current pound-for-pound great Floyd “Pretty Boy" Mayweather the 10-round distance.  Impressed by his performance, Mayweather’s team immediately hired Pep as a sparring partner in preparation for Mayweather’s first world title fight with Genaro Hernandez.

Known for his piston-like jab and his effortless ability to pick apart his opponent’s game, Tony Pep now looks to pass on his boxing skills to others.  Pep regularly trains up and coming amateur and professional boxers as well as MMA fighters from his home gym in Vancouver B.C. and at various local facilities.
